I really don’t know how to put this, but this is the last shot I will post on 365. At least for now. Maybe one day I’ll start again, or maybe I’ll just pick up where I’ve left off, but the main idea is that I’m tired of it all. This blog has slowly turned the photography thing from a hobby to an obligation with basically no joy coming back.

As I’ve said on my other blog, this was interesting, I have received quite a lot of congratulations and all that, but in the end it didn’t turn out to be as well known or as much appreciated as I wanted it to be. Drawing a line, I didn’t take more then two or three great photos for the project. The rest of them would have been taken either way, so it’s really not that much of an experience bringer or whatnot. It did teach me to be more aware of the surroundings, knowing that I need that good shot taken daily, but it also thought me to give up on any joy of being completely free of any kind of obligations for even a second. In the last three months there hasn’t been a day in which I haven’t carried my camera everywhere, and I bet you’re thinking: “Wow, that’s awesome!”. So yeah, sure, but it’s not! You always need to pay attention, make sure that it’s still there. You can’t run, you can’t jump, you can’t leave your bag on the floor for even a second because you know that if you lose it, it’s not “just another camera”. This one really costs money. So it’s been as much of a pain in the ass, as it’s been an interesting experience. You could actually call it an interesting pain in the ass.

I will continue taking photos of course, I will try to take them daily, I will post them on flickr for the moment and hopefully on my blog pretty soon, but that depends on how fast my host implements the miracle bringing FTP, and I will continue posting the photo-video-songy-slideshowy-thingys that I uploaded on youtube a while ago. I will do that again. So I’m really looking forward to seeing you all on flickr, I will let you know both here and there when the photo blog thing will happen, and that’s about it. Have a great life, and I hope you’ve seen some interesting shots here.
